Thought you guys might like to check out the latest issue of Popular Hot Rodding (April 2003). It features a G-machine '70 GTO decked out with cool mods. Too bad the motor was changed to a Bowtie 502 :-/

Here's a peek.............................

I don't know why they had to ruin it by putting a Bowtie in it, they should have put a stoked 467 >:( nice article

Yeah, they do all these killer mods to the car than cheap out on the powerplant. How about building an IA motor? Anyone can go out and buy a crate 502. Build up a real Pontiac motor. All this car does is perpetuate the myth that if you want to go fast get a chevy. Unfortunately, I think it also perpetuates the idea that if you want your car in a major magazine it better have either a Ford or Chevy motor in it...

Hmmm..I've read posts on PY from the builder of this car.
There's an online photo album too. I had no idea it was a chevy underneath though. I'd heard that a G machine was having the motor worked on at SD. This is not it obviously

Well, for the right way, let's look in our own backyards.
