Is anyone participating from our club this year? It's on June 26th. I haven't decided yet, but if I am entering....I guess I'll have to make up my mind fast.

Rick - Make sure you get pre-registered so we can drive in and park together. I got mine in last week. See you there.

I'm already to go and I'm already registered. Going to meet a friend with his '68 Chev stepside too. Maybe we can all get together, or at least close. Watch out for parking under some trees, they can drop their pollen and create a bit of a mess, although no sappy ones last year.

BTW: Last year the cars lined up down Greenwood ave. all the way down into the zoo's south parking lot. All those pre-registered were told by the folks in the golf cart to pull out and head to the front of the line and you're in. Otherwise, they let in another 100 cars and turned away 300. They let in 500 cars to the show, so if you're not pre-registered get there pretty early.

Its a great show, bands, food, lots of vendors and craft booths too this year.

(I'll be the pretty '66 burgandy goat with the original interior that needs to be redone)

Rick, I don't think Mr. Willette browses this website much - just a hunch. ;)

Rick - I assume you meant Ted in Woodinville, not Tom. I live off of Avondale and can meet you somewhere in Redmond to carvan down. I have the red 64 "survivor". We probally should meet at the ungodly hour of say 5:30 AM. Let me know a good place for you in Redmond to hook up.

Sorry Ted,

5:30am.......what? are we nuts? oh, we own cool cars and want to go to a show.....I guess that's what we have to do. Tom is also on the eastside, and if he's going and a few others it would be cool to drive overthere together. I live on Education Hill.....not too far from the high school so hooking up should be real easy.

Guys, when you've got it locked down,

post a time and which parking lot at the zoo you will be shooting to meet at. The one at the north end of the zoo, near greenwood ave., is closest to the begining of the line. If its late the cars will be lined up all the way into the south parking lot.

But as soon as you have grouped up, go get in line. Someone like me could drive down the line looking for you and if you're preregistered getting cuts in line should be no big deal, 'cause pre-registered folks all go to the front of the line anyways if they run short of time while letting others in. I spose they count the cars and know how many they've got pre-registered and then let in x number of more cars in line to fill the show.

Rick - I can remember the days when I didn't get home until 5:30 AM!! We are nuts. See you at the high school.

I'd love to know where we are meeting. I got in line at 6:30 am last year and was all the way back at the West entrance of the Zoo! Joe

I've heard some conflicting weather reports.....some say drizzle in the morning, clearing around noon. Some just say you roll the dice you take your chances.

As of right now I'm still planning on going. Ted, if you still want to meet at Redmond high school let me know. If you want to call me at home it's 425-883-0932. I'll be available till around 11 tonight (I've got some cleaning to do on the goat. If it is pouring down rain tomorrow morning I guess I'm "out" as far as taking my car. If it's only a little misty, I think I'll chance it, but I'll put the top up. I did go out an buy a waterproof generic car cover today just in case we get there okay and then it starts pouring. My guess is that if it's pouring there will be lots of no shows.
