Some nearly thirty years ago I took my back seat out and eventually tossed it in a dumpster one night while cleaning the garage. Asides for the logic of the actions my motives were good, but now I want to put a seat back in.
I bought a '66 seat from somebody back east about ten years ago and the top rail and velcro strip to hold my boot cover in place. He assured me they were the same as a '65 (which I don't know about one way or the other) but have some doubt of. However; his advise about how to "just attach the strip to the seat back" and "it will come out an exact copy of a '65 factory seat back" seem to have faded from my mind. I'd like a bit of coaching and perhaps a photo or two of how it should look before I wreck something hard to find (again).
