Hey everyone my name is Joel and I am pretty new to the list. I am in the western washington firebirds club and would like to extend an open invitaion to whoever would like to come to a BBQ I will be having for the firebird club at my house on July 24th. I live out by the sound just west of smokey point and have lots of room for parking. after the BBQ we may cruise to clearview for a cruise in they have there every sat.
i also just wanted to let you guys know that this is one of the best forums out that I have found and have learned alot from reading posts.
Thanks,
Joel

Joel,
Sounds like a great time you're planning. However since you've read our posts you'll have noticed that our club's "Rainier Run" poker cruise on that same day starting in Enumclaw. In saying that not all of our members will be attending and what you have to offer is a nice alternative for those that are looking for something else to do. I can't speak for all the club but I for one thank you for the invite as well as return the invite to you and all your club that should the BBQ not work out, please feel free to join us on the Rainier Run. The flyer and info is on our web site.

Hey good to see you here Joel! Welcome! Lol... Nice to see some other "shrunken GTO" Guy's here besides Todd B and me...
I hope lots of "Pontiac" guys and their cars can make it!
Thanks - Brett - 67 Drop Top 455!

i hope so to Brett. I did notice that it was the same weekend but any one who maybe doesn't have the hole day or something can stop buy. It was a lot of fun last year and there should be some nice burn outs to watch.
Joel
Thx for the invitation Joel !
I seem to have seen some photos somewhere of some very dark parallel marks on a street in front of a firebird BBQ around here somewhere
More than a 55 gal drum of goof-off could take care of, for sure

If anyone happens to come or decides last second that they are coming here are some directions:
From i-5 north or south take the smokey point exit and head west towards pugeot sound.
drive for about 5 minutes until you come to your first stop sign and go right. This will be hwy 531.
Next you will wind inbetween some lakes and yu will come to your second stop sign. this will take about 9 minutes.
at the stop sign turn right you will now be on marine drive.
take your first right onto 184th st nw and I am the second house you can't miss it.
I hope to see some of you there. For questions call 360-654-1936, we will be starting around 12pm.
thanks,
Joel
