Hi all!

A buddy of mine just had all new front suspension parts put in his 68 Firebird by the best mechanic I know, including steering box, pitman arm, idler arm, even subframe bushings. He even threw on a driveshaft loop :)

Now the question is ... Does anyone know a real good front end guy to do the alignment, my friend the mechanic isn't allowed to do it at work. Looking for someone that knows what they are doing with older cars.

I have him (the owner) talked into going to Rainier Run with it, but he needs the alignment first, and he wants me to paint his other hood too, hopefully ABC can match the original color (Red). He is running a 1970 GTO 455 HO that he bought from me about 20 years ago, and hardly takes it out of the garage because it isn't done, so getting him to take it on a long run was quite a feat. I do hope non GTO's are invited, I never did find out for sure. It does have a GTO heart!

Rainer Run is open to all. Any car, truck, bike or whatever can participate.

No referrals to a reliable front end alignment shop? Time is running out for Rainier Run. Any bad experiences, good ones?

Gee, I'm not sure on this one..
Try calling companies in yellow pages around here under "race car fabrication" and ask them who they use. Good luck !

Thanks, we'll try that.

Try Gene's Goodyear on Bothell Way, had some work done on my Judge a few years ago. Gene's a good guy.

Ok, I'll pass that along to him, I appreciate the lead. Looks like his axle seals are leaking too, so add one more thing to be done. I don't think he will make it to Rainier.
