G :D :D DGUYS WAS Great!!!
Friday saw lots of cars most of the day with Nostalgia Drags at Pacific Raceways in the evening. Saturday came early as some guys parked & slept in their cars in line along the street at 11 PM Friday night just to be first in line for the prime spots come Saturday AM at 5 when the gates opened. I lost count but somewhere around 1800 cars showed up for the pre '65 event. (I heard from the vendor coordinator that either next year or in '06 this event will open to '72 and earlier!!) There was plenty to see with a great atmosphere where the cars can cruise the grounds all day and into the wee hours of the night. Sunday is more laid back as the recovery day for most. The cars roll in a little late and turned out to be an equally great time. It was good to see a few friends and all the cool cars!! here's a few pics of the action:

This was by far the coolest ride there. I first saw this car in Tacoma Dome (April) about half done and thought it was going to be killer. Well now it is complete and what a Hot Rod. It stood out like no other.

One of the other highlights of Saturday was these two T-bolts that were cruising the grounds together throughout the day. You couldn't miss them as they were running uncorked headers. Oooooohhhh Yea!

This was really cool too. The guy that pinstriped my '65 had a booth there and laid some knarly flames on this Viper powered Ram.

I was able to take the White Wrapper '55 and cruised the grounds a couple times a day. Man it was awesome. There is just something about the smell of 110 on you when you get out of the machine.
Wow, I missed a goody, thanks for posting the killer pics

The car with the skull on the motor and the eyes that open with the throttle, well that is one DAM cool look`in car.
The only nice stang

Whoah!!! That one rod would'a been worth the trip from Victoria! That hast'a be the coolest, badest, knarliest rod I've ever seen. That's "Ed Roth cool!"
That's the kinda car that hooked me for life on the car thing. Thanks for the pics!
Sigh. Now every other rod I look at will simply be crap.

Brad, I think your '55 is still the baddest of the bunch (and I'm not even into Chebbies!). Muchas Grassy-ass for the great pics!
