I know it's late, but any of you putting you car in the Roadster Show.......

When are y'all planning on getting your Goat's to check in?

Since this is my first time.....what do I need to bring, other than the following:

Wax
Tire Dressing
Tape
Chamois
rags
towels
drip pan
money......

Let me know....I'm planning right now to get there early, but is that a mistake because of the mad rush?

Hi Rick,
With Mark D's help we've been cranking on my car in prep for show. I have to work till noon tomorrow but Mark D is bringing my car down there at about 10 or 11 am and will do more detailing on site. Other than the items you mention (thx for reminder on drip pan) perhaps window cleaner as those windows might need a final bit of lovin'

see ya there :D

I just got back from Seahawk Exhibition Center....

Here is my journal entry from last night and today. When I got home from work, I took the goat out because I had a wee too much gas in the tank (you can only have a max of 1/8 of a tank to get into the center). I wiped, polished, shined and shined.....and 2 hours after I told my wife I was finished...I actually finished.

I prayed that it would not rain on Thursday morning....and it didn't. I was able to check in at 9:30 and everything went smoothly. I started cleaning and detailing until Dennis, Tom and Frank showed up....we arranged the cars and started cleaning some more.

When I left I felt that short of a new paint job there wasn't anymore shining I could do. I'm very excited about the whole thing. I can't wait to go back on Sat or Sun (or both) and see the whole show.

A special thanks to Dennis and Janice Babcock for walking me through the process....and especially to Janice for being so kind to give me a ride back to my office.

Dennis and Janice are true Legends. I will miss the Georgous Silver '64 this year, but can't wait to see the new crop of all stars shine at this years show. See you guys Saturday!

Yes, set up day was fun even though I waited in line for 2+ hours. The good news was dry streets!
Yes Rick, your 65 is looking awesome!
Attached are some set up pics I took around 9pm Thursday night before the mad rush of weekend onlookers.

Nice pictures! Really makes me wish we lived closer. But way to much traffic for us!

Depends on what kind of traffic! GTO traffic? Now that's not bad traffic!
