Uh-Oh, Per the post about the Muscle Car Meet and a possible date conflict with BOP Drags….I’m confused about this whole BOP deal too and it would be great if we understood what was going on with the dates. I think it’s more convenient for the Bremerton and Pacific Raceways events to be on the same day. This was discussed months and months ago, right?
Royal Bob? Can you straighten this out brother?

I am afraid it might be too late in the game for anyone to modify their schedule. That leaves decisions to be made.

 I am going to run the wagon at both Bremerton and Pacific Raceways. I can only do this if the events are held on two different dates.

BOP events are seldom scheduled so why would we want them to be held on the same day.

He meant the same weekend. It was supposed to be Saturday at Bremerton and Sunday at Pacific. It was also not supposed to conflict with the legends show

OK, Here's my two cents! I AM ALIIVE :!:  :!:
Now that that is out of the way.... the LeMans 461 is begging for it's first official 1/4 mile passes. I was planning on buying a set of those new MT street radials seeing as my 295/65r15 BFG's won't fit anymore (courtesy of D.F.M. Inc.) They are for sale also.... say.....$195.00 pr?
Anyway, because of my Fathers Day spinal fusion surgery, I can NOT drive all the to Bremerton for their B.O.P.
I was going to do the Muscle Car Meet and then PR's B.O.P. then hang it up for the year as I explained to Lonnie & Bob B a while ago.... Furthermore, if what is being said is true, then...
P.R. shouldn't be having this scheduling conflict with the #1 supporter of their B.O.P. Event!
If someone could let me know by phone or e-mail ASAP on the PR date so I either buy or wait on tires that'd be a HUGE help!!
Alive & Mostly Pain Free,
Manic

I talked to Pacific Raceways and they confirmed that the date of Sept 18 is the date of the BOP at that location. Since our Musclecar Meet is also on the same day, I informed them that ou club participation would be very little. They apologized for the scheduling mixup and promised to coordinate with us next year. Looks like Bremerton on the 25th of Sept. will be a great event! Too bad about the mixup with Pacific.

What a joke.

Last year at Pacific was extremely light as compared to Bremerton.
Now this year, anybody with a Buick, Olds, or Pontiac will likely go to the annual Musclecar Meet.
The Pacific BOP will most likely be a ghost town. So then they'll make a decision to cancel any future BOP event.

I’d Really like to use some language here to concur with Mark, But frankly I’m just to sick to my stomach :( as I JUST spent $328.85 on a brand new set of stickies that’ll fit my LeMans for the B.O.P. AT P.R.
Now maybe I’ll just stay home for summer…..

Ihave to agree with ponsteen. It is unfortunate that they scheduled it on the same weekend as the show but with it hard enough to get just a BOP day at any strip, look at what has happened at bremerton now they are letting other people race to. I think that it would be to hard for people to do both places in one weekend even if they are on seperate days. Having them on different weekends is the best way to get the most attendance. Wasn't bremerton's early in sept. the last couple of years?
