Kudos to the Major Family and Committee

B I G T H A N K S ! ! to Gary Major and his wife Lara & family - as well as the rest of the events committee for putting on the Rainier Run 2002! My dad (Wally) and I had a great time and it was awesome to see all those bad-ass goats out there on the road where they belong! Also, thanks to all those who participated. Without you, there would be no events!

Now I gotta wait for my next pay check so I can develop my film. ;)

:) Ditto on the Kudo's. This was Paula's and mine first road trip in the goat and our first club event. While Paula was a wee bit apprehensive about getting up at the crack of dawn, she ended up loving the whole trip (she wouldn't go for the buffalo burger though). It was a beautiful day and when all the goats were herded together in Eatonville....man, what a sight. We can hardly wait for the next one.

I was unable to make the run.... But i made picknic/get together. I loved seeing all the cars cruise into town,I wanted to give a "BIG THANKS" for including all the kids, I know mine had a great time! My son Spencer now has a tiger tail on the seat of his bike!!! Really, GREAT JOB!! and thank you !!

Gary and Lara,

Fantastic job on organizing the Ranier Run! *It was great to see so many of our newer members out there enjoying a great day in the mountains in their GTO's. *Without your hard work and enthusiasm, it would never have happened. Kudos also to Al Swearingen and Bob Black who did a *lot of the behind the scenes work. *

I am sure that the Ranier Run will grow into a great yearly event with more and more participation every year by our own club members as well as other car clubs. *

:) Lara and Gary, You two are what this club is all about. My wife and I had a great time. You should be proud of how your hard work turned out. Two of the non club members told me that this was the best, most organized run they had ever been on. They can't wait for the next one! It will be hard to top the scenery!

Can't agree more, :D the Major's organized one fantastic day! Gary, it was a pleasure to help out and do the trial run with you (though it cost me an engine rebuild :-/, but that would have happened anyway). I personnaly got to see the effort that Gary and Lara put into this project that members, let me tell you, that's incentive, imagination and dedication at it's best. Hat's (tops, convertible tops that is) off to Gary and Lara!
