chrome polish?

any suggestions on what to use to polish up the chrome on my lemans? its seen better days and i would like to save the chrome. its in great condition, i would love to have it in like new condition.

Depends on how far gone it is. If it's still pretty spiffy but just doesn't seem to shine as much anymore, you can try one of the "over the counter" polishes. I like Eagle One, which works great on chrome and aluminum.

If you're starting to get some small rust spots and the chrome is a bit dull, you might want to get the part off the car and go after it with something more aggressive like jewler's rouge and a buffing wheel. Then finish it off with some Eagle One or something similar. Jewler's rouge is still pretty forgiving (compared to even more aggressive compounds) but you still need to take care and not over-do it.
