I've been puzzling on how to remove paint from plastic parts such as fan shrouds and this bumper filler on the "parts car". Today I bit the bullet and tried "Poly Super Strippa" a chemical stripper. I am totally pleased with the results and thought I should pass this on :D I'll do the fan shroud next. I just paint on the stripper and then use a stiff brush to take the paint away. RINSE WELL 8)

Good to hear, I'd hate to see that nice car come apart. Did you ever get with Richard and take a look at his extra trim parts, and if so did he have what you needed? I'm in the process of building a stand for the GTO body so I can iron out the rough stuff this winter, then it's assembly time!! I'm hoping to see the road some time late 2005 or early 2006, (fingers crossed). Keep up the good work, see you sometime.

I think Richard may have not been able to find the parts - he didn't get back to me. I THINK I'm okay for the stainless parts for the time being. I need a complete clutch fan but there's no panic on that. I would also buy a console-mounted 8-track player - but I need one that looks good but is really junk so that I can perform experiments on it in my lab! Pete

Well, I have a 69 8-track that may be had. It worked when I pulled it 15 years ago or so, what did you have in mind for a price? I don't need to get top dollar for it but I rather not give it away either.

Let me know if interested,, Stefan.
