I am going to start buying interior parts soon the the mighty Lemans and I want to know who I should go through. I have my OPG catalog and the prices seem fairly good compaired to Year one. I also know I can go to Evergreen Muscle and get good prices. Am I on a good track here or are there other ideas. The idea is to do the interior somewhat original with very little exceptions.

You also might try Ames Performance Engineering.

I used Ames for my 1964 G.T.O. Did the whole interior and I`m very happy with the Quality and workmanship.

Yes, you are on the right track! First check with Evergreen to be able to touch and feel and Bob will tell you straight up if there is one source that is better than another, and or will be able to mix and match suplyers etc...

Then check with Ames and Performance Years... then from there you have quite a few choices, but the quality, availability, service and all start to go down, as the price starts to go up...

Make your list, check the prices at Ames etc... and I bet Evergreen would be able to be pretty competitive price wise, and get you the best quality by shopping vendors.

Good luck! (I'll be ordering more interior items through Evergreen this next month I hope myself..)

Bob at Evergreen knows his stuff, no doubt. He's pretty competitive about price too. When you order from a catelog some guy runs out in a wharehouse and pulls a wrapped part from a parts bin and boxes it up for you....no telling how good that part is compared to another part in the same bin. Atleast if it's a local supplier, you can touch and feel if the part is the acceptable quality. Some stuff you may have to order though. If you have to, I recomend you stick with a Pontiac only supplier...that way when you have questions, you're dealing with a Pontiac guy, not a Mopar, Nova, Camero Chevelle and Pontiac too, dealer. Ames and Performance Years are Pontiac only, to my knowledge and even though they aren't west coast, they know your car better than you do.
