Gang, I have my 66 goat picture shown on the web page under name of Larry & Arlyne Ferrand. Can anyone help me out identifying the wheel name and style? In the near future I want to buy Rally I wheels and want to sell the present wheels.

Any suggestions on wheel width and size? 14x7 15x7?? 14x6 15x6??

Thanks for any help

Larry, the wheels you currently have on the Great White Tiger are a repop of the famous Champ 500 wheel made famous on Hard Castle and Mckormic's kit car (ABC eary to mid 80's) I don't remember the make of your particular wheel but Centerline was the first to do this rim. Best bet is to sell them with pics on the club's web site or through the Buy and Sell. You should be able to run 15x7's all the way around on your car, but watch the tire width on the fronts. The average tire size on a 15x7 is 245-60 15....fine for the back but some folks have contact problems at lock with 245's. Dad did on his '64. He went to 225-60 15's and that cured the problem. I think Dacosta runs 225's on his '68 in the front for the same reason. You're gonna need some nice wide tread for that new 323!
Coker and Vintiques as well as Year One and Ames all offer 15x7 Ralley I's. Hope to see you layin down some fresh rubber at a meeting this spring!

Mike, I can only cruise around Bremerton area at present. Tiger is leaking oil etc pretty bad from every conceivable spot. Not runnig to well either. Needs taken out and gone through. I visited SD Performance web site and emailed Dave a couple of times and never received any responses to my rebuild questions. That is about the next repair/rebuild item before cosmetics begin. Does Dave come down to any meetings? Catch ya later. 3.23 works great when out and about.

Hey Larry, I don't believe Dave is doing complete engines anymore but he is still building heads and putting together head and cam packages. I'm not sure who to go to over on your side of the bridge but in Auburn, DG machine does some pontiac work and has a pretty good reputation. Good luck.

Stefan.
