Hello everyone. I am new to this board but certainly enjoy what I am seeing here. Anyway I am looking to but either a 400 or 455 to repower my 67 Lemans with. I purchased the car from a guy in Renton last spring but it has a 326 with 2 speed auto.
Now that it is shiny and straight it needs some power. That being said I am hoping to find a complete engine or at least complete short block (if that makes sense) As long as it is rebuildable I would be happy. Thanks. Have a great weekend.
John.

Have a good 400 that I just pulled a month or so ago. It is about a 72, 2 bbl motor but did run good. Call if interested, 360-693-7487

I also have a couple to choose from.

a '71 "YS" short block but have just about everything to make it complete. including "96" heads (date matching), intake, oil pan etc. no main caps though :-(

also a '67 "XH" (factory 350hp 400 cu.in.) out of a Gran Prix, 670 heads, complete engine, ran great when I took it out of the car I got it in. Is said to been built with forged aluminum pistons, RAIV cam.

I just got a 428 so these engines are up for grabs.

John, looks like you have a stable of Ponchos there. Welcome to the board. You should bring one to a meeting sometime. Bison Creek Pizza, in Burien the first Saturday every month. Best way to build a Pontiac is to network with Pontiac folks.

Hi Mike. Thanks for the offer of your club meetings. That line up of Poncho's in the picture was actually taken at a guy's house in Renton.
That is where I bought the Lemans from. It looks a lot different now since I had it stripped and painted. I actually live on Vancouver Island but am hoping to get my car into a bit better shape and hopefully make it to one of your events this summer.
Gotta get me some power under the hood first though as the old 326 just doesn't really do it for me. LOL!

As it states in our bylaws, you don't have to own a GTO to join the club...or even a car for that matter... just a love for Pontiac Muscle. Hope to meet you in person soon. Cal Big Al... he has a lot of quality Pontiac mills that will fit nicely under the hood of your ride.

Hi Guys and gals! I just wanted to send in an updated picture of my car. She is not the" ugly ducking" anymore but still needs a few thing including wheels.
