It was great to see everyone at the meeting. Nice to see the GTO's out also. Many thanks to Mark D (THE REV) for tossin' me the keys to his new '05 GTO. As I sat there idling in the lot the guys were having me rev it up, and it sounded real good as 4500 rpm went by. I rolled out to the street with the traction control OFF (sorry Mark I have to confess), I stomped it from a roll and it raised up immediately and launched hard with a quick shift to 2nd at 5800, I kept the gas down and boy it responded. Then off the throttle it snarled back down to a comfortable pace. Of course I needed to do this a few more times to confirm everything.....Yep, this car hauls ASS. 400 HP to the rear wheels, is just right. Mark, invest in a Radar detector my friend.

I must say it was cool to compare G.T.'s red '04 to the new GTO of Mark's. Both, plenty of horspower, very impressive. I have to mention though that the '05 has a much more aggressive tone to the exhaust note than the '04. As G.T. was making pass after pass in front of the Creek, powershifting, layin' rubber (thanks Gary) I got a good sense of the beast. Then as Mark's car left, it was like it had Flowmasters. Those huge true dual tips sounded very cool. To end the evening, Bill another member left the lot in his new '05 Mustang GT. Great looking, and sounding car too. MUSCLE, It's all good. 8)

The February Meeting was a fun one, lots of laughs, great people, cool cars.

Bill Nelson, you're even exused for bringing that new 05' GT Stang.
Legend Lime is indeed cool.

Gary Tischer is a wildman....

I second that GT is a WILD MAN and a serious nod to Mark's '05 - it hauls ASS - thanks again to Mark, if you bring it to the next meeting I plan on getting you lots of beer so I might get another ride. :)

Thanks to GT to for showing me the road straight ahead out of my passenger window!!! YEAH!

Gary Tischer is an 18 year old trapped in a......... "more experienced" man's body! Ask him how many miles he's rang up on his 'o4..... he'll tell you he can't get out of the thing. They're too much fun to drive. Muscle cars were made to be driven hard. They can take it.... that's why they call em Muscle Cars! Bravo gentleman bravo.

Thanks for the blast down the street in your new ride. So what cd do you roll when driving fast?

I gotta quit driving fast & listen to Valentine One.....

The run over I-90 to Factoria every day has proved to be thick with Smokeys.

See the red & blues in the rearview, throw in some Rob Zombie & pin the throttle.
