Kevin Suydam Collection Tour

Hey guys, I wanted to give you a heads up on this tour coming up. I am putting finishing touches on newsletter that will have a flyer with all the info.

This guy has some of the rarest musclecars on the planet and we have been invited to attend a private showing Saturday May 3, before our club meeting. We are meeting at 11:30 AM at the Sears parking lot off Aurora and 155th in Shoreline and will caravan to his palace at noon. For a sneak peek go to his website at corvettes-musclecars.com

This is one that got away. It is an historic car that Kevin had made the deal on and even sent the cashier's check. Well the guy took it out for one last ride and apparently lost a tie rod, and steering and you see the result. This was a very rare '68 Hurst/Olds drag car campaigned by Russ Dunmire Olds out of Tacoma. It was restored in '96 I believe, and was stunning as I saw at the Portland Roadster Show. Broke a tierod, ya right. How do you break a tierod on a fully restored car? I think he was on the throttle with the slicks on(not pictured) and lost control. :(
