Drive In Movie Night Featuring XXX.

The drive in movie night will be Saturday night,the 17th.At the valley 6 drive in,where xxx will be playing which features a 66 or 67 G.T.O. that shoots rockets out of it's upper headlights .These rocket launchers were a very rare option used to clear the road of slower Chevy's ,Mopar's ,and Fords so G.T.O.'s could get to the gas station before running out of gas.
There will be a pre-function before the movie at the Central Ave.Pub and Eatery for food and beverages,here's the schedule and directions.
Meet at the pub between 6:00 and 6:30 P.M.
Leave for the movie at about 8:15-8:30.
The movie starts at 9:05.
Directions:
The Central Ave. Pub and Eatery is located at 1404 Central Ave.
To get there take HWY167 from the north or south to Kent ,and take the Willis street exit,go East to Central Ave ,take a right and head south a few blocks ,and the pub is on the left hand side heading south.
The drive in is just a couple of miles south of that,on the left.

It's too bad Royal Botkin didn't have this option when in Canada last weekend at 11:00 at night, he could of used it. :-[Sounds like fun Mitch, not sure if I can go. Hopefully there were be some cool shots of the 67 in the movie.

Sounds like a great idea, wouldn't it be cool to get as many '67s that as we can that night, to make a statement! I'll bring my black '67 convert (kinda what it looked like when the top came off in the movie ;)

Hey gang the GTO from the movie XXX is on ebay right now *check it out .What a pile of *@#$# .Sorry thats not nice but go look at it .It needs TLC in a bad way .be sure and look real close at the gauges as they are pop cans ..Its still a really cool car :o but check out the close ups .Click the more pictures link once you get there

The air cleaner looks like it has 100,000 miles on it too.

You'd think they could have washed the car before shooting the photos to try and sell the thing. Oh well, I guess Mark D wasn't available to give it the once over.

Don't worry about it, it's really a LeMans. I posted about this on Performance Years web site. Here are the spec's:
The year is 1967.
The make is Pontiac.
The model is a Tempest LeMans 2-door hatchback coupe.
The motor is a 230 cubic inch inline-6.
The motor is the base motor only. Optional motors are not decodable by VIN.
It was manufactured in St. Therese, Que. (Montreal).
The production sequence number is 112800.

Of course the car on ebay has a Chevy motor in it :P
