Hi Guys!

Well, unfortunately I missed the Mopar show at BCC today, but I made it to dinner at XXX and there were a couple cool cars there. I wanted to post the pics of the cars, but I am a bit "slow" when it comes to computer stuff...so hope you enjoy what I could get resized and posted.

There was a really cool couple there with a '45 Dodge pickup that has been completely rebuilt and they showed it earlier in the day at the Mopar show. The guy spent some time letting Jordan take pictures (on the trailer) and explaining how fast the truck could go ("not that it's really that fast" he says as he looks at his wife). He told us that they had spent the last three years trying to get the motor mounted so that everything fit in the engine compartment. They also explained that the front end was off of a car (all metal) and the rear had been tubbed "aggressively". It was a cool truck painted in a blue/gray matte primer and a pretty nice blue interior. It was cute to see the guy completely deny that he had any idea how fast the truck could go in the quarter mile since their agreement had been he could restore it so long as it stayed a street rod. I noted the roll cage, 5-point harnesses and flame-retardant interior, figuring all street rods need those. ;)

There quite a few Mopars that rolled through while we were there, but I didn't get any pictures. I noted a cool red convertible Challenger and two Chargers that showed up but left early. It was a good spot to watch while we ate. :)

Wow, I think I was there at nearly the same time. About 5-ish? I saw all those cars, didn't eat there though. Cool pics.

Yup, I saw you pull in. Jordan wanted to give Jose his picture and it was a good time for dinner. Wish I could post the pics of Jordan in front of the sign.......but I can't resize them. :)

We rolled through in the convert around 6 or so....but kept going because we had a dinner to make....The red challenger and I played chicken in the parking lot......I didn't know if I was supposed to pass him (he was just sitting there) then he moved forward (he wanted to back in to a stall) but gave me no smile, or indication...so I backed up to let him do his business. What a grouch.

Yeah that looks like a typical Mopar guy.

You forgot to add the Mullet haircut though.
