Trying to help a friend out, he's been looking for a TH350 for his Pontiac to replace the 2 speed ST300 (most direct swap) and he found one, that only had 60K on it, Torque converter everything... but after he sent me pix... it's a TH400! Well he's not sure he wants to go to the extra effort to replace the cross member/driveshaft/yolk etc.
(Unless anyone may have a TH400 yolk and or cross member they would sell?)
Then we could proceed as planned and use the TH400 - just let me know!
Otherwise, if anyone would possibly be interested in trading a good TH350, for a good TH400 and his ST300 (not sure of the over all condition) and I'll throw in my extra ST300 which was out of a 66 lemans... All this for a good TH350?
Not sure if anyone would need them, or want to go that route? But I thought I'd check and see? Maybe Sefan? Al? or maybe I should contact Gary Tischer?
Think he'd be at all interested in a partial trade for something he may have?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. My friend lives in Gig Harbor, and I'll be helping with the swap, and want to make sure we can do the job as easily as possible. (Hence the TH350 instead of changing everything for a TH400)
