Despite Sea Fair weekend, the Northwest GTO Legends hosted a successful 2005 Northwest Musclecar Meet.
The 19th annual meet kicked off at 8:00 AM, Sunday morning, August 7th, when the low fog began to lift. Everyone was shining up their cars, and getting ready for competition. Dan Philips, of the Phantoms club, was among several who were trying to remove the road grime that their car picked up on the way over. Dan had some trouble with street tar on his 1969 AMX.
In attendance were owners of all the major makes, manufacturers and classes. Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, Vettes, and Chevelles just to name a few. And making the GTO enthusiast proud were more than 27 goats.
A successful event like this one is possible when several main ingredients are mixed: (1) hard working volunteers who host the event; (2) sponsors who support our club and our mission; (3) weather that cooperates; and (4) our terrific enthusiasts from all corners and creeds who come out to join us in celebrating such a fantastic hobby. This year we had plenty of all four, and on behalf of the entire club, we thank you for your support and attendance.
Mike Santella, the main force behind the Musclecar Meet, summed up a hearty thanks in this thread:

I'm compiling the photos as I write this, and they will be available in the GALLERY (http://www.northwestlegends.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=530) shortly. There were over 300 photos taken on Sunday, so hang on while I sort them out.
For a quick review of all those that registered, see THIS ROSTER (http://www.northwestlegends.com/photopost/data/530/mm05roster.pdf) - you must have Adobe Acrobat.
Once again, thank you to everyone for contributing to another great Northwest Musclecar Meet.
