OLD BUSINESS:
1. Mike Santella address the membership on latest status of the NW Legends Muscle Car Show:
- His Car Show Committee met at Issaquah to review plans on how they are going to handle different aspects of the show. Mike and Wally will begin in the morning to man the front gate, and there will people stationed out on the boulevard to direct entering cars east, then a u-turn west, and then right, to where we will dispense tickets and take the entry fee.
- Denny Deal’s daughter (and her husband) will also be setup at this location to take pictures of any of the entering cars, whose owners are interested.
- Mike wants to be at the Issaquah location by 7:30am to be ready for early arrivals.
2. Gary Majors talked to the membership about ongoing status of Jim Wangers visit to our club in December. Jim is schedule to come to our December 3rd Award Banquet.
- John Pearson will check with Bob Botkin on how we paid for the airline tickets last year. We all agree, that we will want to purchase sooner than later.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Mike Santella made a motion to the membership that since we have had a number of meetings this year, fall on holiday weekends, that we reschedule next months meeting to September 10th. Membership agreed, and passed the motion.
2. Amber Egen started a discussion about our plans for this year’s Christmas Party/Awards Banquet. Amber explained that the Pyramid Ale House has a seating capacity of 55. Some of the members felt this would not work and would be too restrictive. There were discussions about other possible places, but nothing definite. Gary Majors suggested some restaurant located down south near his area. There will need to be more discussions and legwork on resolving where the Christmas Party/Awards Banquet will held.
3. No 50/50 Raffle was held, since Gary Tischer was not present for this meeting.
MEETING ADJORNED:
Meeting was adjourned at 5:10 pm by John Pearson. Next meeting will be held at the Bison Creek, on September 10th, at 4:00 PM.
