Will be there.
Great, the more the merrier, I'll enjoy seeing a good pontiac turnout.
I'm getting a new clutch and related items together and installed before the race weekend. My throwout bearing was wasted, the collar is only half there now...I guess that's what was causing small pieces of metal to fall on the floor when rebuilding my Z bar ...doh ! Clutch doesn't look too good, I need a better look at it in decent lighting, but a new centerforce is going in.
I think my clutch setup has been not only driving me a bit nuts but also holding me back on performance, i have been running 110-112 mph consistently but can't get past the 12.50's lately.
Shortpants, I think it would be great if we could line up next to each other at BOPs. I clicked on your woop ass picture. It looks like a 10 oz. can.
You need a bigger can of that stuff to mess with this 4-speed ! LOL

Is there going to be a place the legends are gonna meet up or something because I dont know what most of you look like and wouldn't mind seeing some new faces. I'll be bringing my Video camera to tape some of the races (since my car wont be ready to race) so if anyone wants me to get them on tape and wants a copy, let me know. I'll also be taking pictures.
Weather forecast is sucking wind and rain last I checked
Plus my damned car isn't ready, tranny not in it right now, taking forever to get stuff done on this one, aaargh !
Hey Screaming, if this isn't rained out, just loook for nasty GTOs, Lemans, and other cool pure pontiac muscle, kinda pitted near one another, that's kinda how we did it last time I think.

If it gets rained out we need to schedule a club test and tune at pacific raceways if there are any drag racing days left.

Change of plans. Chances are good that I'm going to be sent to louisiana this friday for 10 days. So if you dont see me saturday.. I'm probably cleaning up some New Orleans school.

This message is from Chuck and Ann Beistline:
Hello Everyone,
We just got an e-mail from Brad Barrie asking if we wanted to cancel our Annual Burrito Feed this year due to other commitments by the members and weather conditions. We regretfully have decided that would be the best idea for this year. BUT you all had better be here NEXT year. Who ever sets the date for the race...if you could do it no later than the middle of September that would be good too.
Take care everyone and happy cruising.

With the BOP Bremerton weekend upon us I thought to update everyone on things as with the late date this year and weather outlook things may be a little light as far as participation and turnout.
I know a few of us can't make it this year as we are down in California for the Hot Rod Reunion (which falls on the same weekend). I got an e-mail from Annie Beistline, our annual host for the after drags party Burrito-fest and Chili feed. Looks like they would like to cancel this year and gear up for next. With the weather and date, probably not a bad idea. As well I haven't been able to get the word out on this and put together also. Next year we will properly advertise and publicize & hopefully it will not fall on this late date.
Hope this doesn't put too much of a damper on everyone's plans. If you are attending, on behalf of the NW Legends, make us proud and have fun. Sorry I'm gonna miss it this year.

Well the weather was really nice, partly sunny. There was a light turnout because of the threat of rain which didn't happen. So it turned out to be a blast .

Well I ran my best times ever ,so I think I got a couple things ironed out. Then I lost in the first round with a 12.752 at 107mph on a 12.75 dial in,the guy I raced ran a 10.50 on a 10.55 dial in and broke out.How did I loose? I made the little red light come on by .06.
I'm going to try to make it to pacific raceways on Oct. 16th.Anyone else going?
Other legends present were Stephan"Pontiac Shack"Fafnis,Guyle,Gary Tischer,
yup Gary was out there grabbin gears in his 64,Dave G.,Brandon,Don Crenshaw and his Brother, did I forget anybody?
Mitch
