GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
John Pearson recognized new member: Patrick Kinsella, who owns a new 2005 Midnight Blue GTO.

SECRETARIES REPORT:

Wally Santella gave the Secretaries Report, based on notes provided from last month’s meeting. Last month’s minutes were summarized, and details posted on the Club’s web site.

TREASURES REPORT:

Amber Engen provided the Treasures Report for this meeting. Amber announced a Starting Balance of $3,414.55 and an ending balance of $4,996.78. This included income items of $52 in dues, $24 in merchandise sales, $1,827 in MCM dues, and $751.70 in Rainier Run income, and expense items of $631.36 MCM Awards, $275 MCM DJ expenses, and $166.11 in NW Legends Newsletter expenses.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Lara Major briefed the membership on Rainer Run expenses of $1,271 and income of $1,591, yielding a profit of $588.72.

2. Lara Major raised a motion to donate $400 of the Rainer Run profit to the Pediatric Intern Care Center, and the membership passed the motion.

3. Amber Engen briefed the membership on NW Muscle Car Meet expenses of $1,271 and income of $1,591.

4. A discussion was led by John Pearson about donating a portion of the profits from the NW Muscle Car Meet to “Jose’s” (the owner of the Issaquah XXX Root Beer) favorite charity, but the membership decided to delay the decision.

5. Gary Major update the membership about Jim Wangers visit plan. Mr. Wangers will come to Seattle on Friday, December 2nd and stay through Sunday, December 4th. Gary suggested we do another shop tour on Saturday. Wally volunteered his shop. John Pearson will figure out the airfare and hotel details with Gary’s help.

6. Frank Muscutt addressed the membership about the plans and efforts behind the new Club Calendar. Beautiful & professional photographs of the calendar cars were display on the Bison Creek bar for everyone to examine. Frank suggests that the calendars should sell for under $20. Denny Deal’s daughter “Stephanie” will be reimbursed for her photographic services at $25/hr for about 4 hours.
- We will mail a couple of the calendars to the National Distributor to see if they would be interested for next year.
- Frank will provide the Board with a cost breakdown, so a decision can be made about printing the calendars, in a more expensive format, on a national scale. Frank estimates the cost of printing 2000 calendars, in this more expensive manner, will be around $7000.

7. A motion was raised and past to produce a number of 8 ˝ x 11 digitally laser printed calendars, for a target cost of $1,500, with a not-to-exceed cap of $1,800.00.

Sorry, I don't mean to be fussy about this, but these numbers are incorrect and I didn't report them for the MCM...these were Lara's numbers for the Rainier Run.

The MCM's total income was $3127.00 with sponsorships and expenses were $1773.19 for a net profit of $1353.81.

Thanks,
Amber
