OK, I'm finally getting a 67 Pontiac (!) and I was hoping one of you might know who is selling new reproduction Hurst wheels I had heard rumors of months ago on here.

This 67 has GOT to have a set! 455 Super Duty,4 speed, AND Nitrous ;D I can's wait for it to get here.

Thanks for any help on the repro wheels.

Best Regards,

John

Brad Barrie is your man. He found a company that is going to do a reproduction of the famed Hurst Mag. I believe they will make these in larger sizes and different offsets as well, but you need to get ahold of him to verify that. There is another company called Intro that is doing a rim called the Vista that is like a modern day version of the Hurst mag but this rim definately comes in different sizes and offsets (up to 22's). They you should check out their website - www.introwheels.com Brad himself, has a set on his tubbed '65 as well as John Pignataro on his '64. You can find them on our club roster. Ask them what they think. The Vista's will definately go on my '66.

You will need to check out The Parts Place (out of Illinois I believe) for info on these. I was on e-bay checking out Hurst stuff and found an auction with repro Hurst trim rings. It was in that ad that they mentioned this project and showed a pic. They advertise in hemmings I know, and you should be able to track down. From the pic I saw they look really close to originals.
