How do you tell if a used military rifle is French?
Never been fired, only dropped once!

Thats to funny about slammin' the French...This morning I was playing poker online and there were a couple of French guys playin and one of them started badmouthin' President Bush and callin' all us americans losers, so I reminded him that he would be chatting in German if it wasn't for us losers. He got real quiet after that. It's amazing how quickly the rest of the world forgets WWII and what the outcome could have been if us 'losers' had remained isolationists.

Back in the Independence war from the Old Country, it was said that the British wore Red Coats to signify their red blood when they were shot...I understand the French wore Brown, and am wondering if it signifies what they were full of when they were wounded? :D

Does anyone know where the Statue of Liberty came from? Seems to me that it is a symbol of the an American Ideal.
