Musclecar Meet Music and Arm Twisting

Hey, let's get a super band to play live tunes at the meet. If any of you agree with this truly original idea, speak up! In fact there is an unsubstantiated rumor going around (I know, I started it myself) that we have some folks, IN THE CLUB, that are very good musicians. We should convince them to jam. Let's DO IT. Don't be bashful, from what I understand these folks may be susceptible to overwhelming pressure.

I think having a live band would be GREAT! I know a really good one if our club members aren't interested, but they're NOT CHEAP. They're called "the Boinkers", they pay alot out at the Firwood in Fife. Great 70s rock!

UNKNOWN AUTHORITY has alreday played the Muscle Car meet a couple of years ago. I think they would rather enjoy attending the car show with their cars, then play. I can't speak for them thou, John what do you say?

Yes, GTO_Al's band can play at the meet, they're called the:
"PLUM MISTERS"

Anyway, yes Unknown Authority was killer at the Musclecar Meet, really took the thing to a new level. However it's alotta work & the bros. I'm sure would like to roll with their dueling ragtops & enjoy the show.

Hey we can play CD's again like last year, as long as we NEVER hire that boresville disc jockey back again who plays the 50's carhop music. I felt I needed to go change out of my Pontiac Racing T-shirt & into a Poodle Skirt. ::)

Thanks for the kind words guys. We appreciate it!! We enjoyed playing as much as you enjoyed listening. I know that we haven't made any plans to play there this year. I know that Jim will be bringing his GTO. Part of why we played was to help save the club money on a DJ. Since I brought the P.A. system, he wasn't needed. Since the club now has it's own "P.A." system, there shouldn't be any reason to hire a DJ or a band. Everyone bring their favorite cd and let 'em spin. I nominate Jim as M.C. again!!
