it's auto now, it was at one time a 4spd car but not sure if it was orig. a 4 spd. he's gonna send off to phs to see if it was an H.O car, orig motor is long gone.

The car is still down at Kelly's in Bend. I am trying to make room for it here and progress seems slow to me but, thats how things go I guess. Kelly has been very gracious to let her stay in his barn till his house sells or the snow is gone. As for condition, the body is in primer except the hood, left fender and roof and there is no rust. The interior is not in the car, I have all the parts but it is safe to say she needs new door panels, quarter panels, headliner, dash, etc. The seats are complete. She was a Verdero Green car with a green vinyl top also. The endura bumper is in excellent condition. The engine is so stock complete it has the original twin snorkel air cleaner on it. I paid $4500 for everything and from what I have seen out there for sale that is a fair market value for a car that needs some assembly, interior and paint. Whomever it was that started the body work did excellent work. The PHS docs show her to have the # matching 400/4spd with 90K. That makes the value. I have decided that it is for sale for $4500. at this time but would trade for a '68 first. I have a couple '68 400's for auto or stick. You can call me at home in the evening at 4254889487. Yes I do vaguely remember seeing the '68 and chatting with you, but that was a lot of beers ago. Mike

hey mike
that car is not in the shape as this 68, i'd say his car is in the 8-10k range? i dont know how these cars sell sometimes but i'd say it's in there somewhere, the only thing against it is the the non matching 400, when he sends in for the phs that will tell more he had another ved-green car with the orig motor so when he gets the build date he will check who knows it may be close to the same then it may be close enough, but we think it was an H.O car poss., plus i'd hate to see a matching #'s car taken down, he wants one to put the ram air 4 motor he has and make a judge clone.

Thats fine, it's worth much more than I am asking and has lots of new parts that I didn't list. Now that I see the picture of the '68 I remember it and I am not interested in it after all...didn't it have a rear clip put on it? Or was that a '67 that was there? Mike

yeah the rear clip was on my 67, it was hit in fall of 67 and the gto rear was put on. I dont think your price was too much seems fair to me he was looking more for trade straight across. his has never been repainted and still looks good. he changes his mind every 5 minutes.
