Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(December 3, 2005)


MEETING OPENED:

Meeting called to order at 4:45 pm by John Pearson, President of the Northwest GTO Legends Club, at the Pyramid Ale House in Seattle. This meeting was an abbreviated business meeting because of the Officer Election, Awards Banquet and Christmas Present Exchange activities that followed.

GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
John Pearson recognized our special holiday guest – Jim Wangers, who had accepted our invitation to come to Seattle and join us for the weekend.

SECRETARIES REPORT:

Wally Santella gave the Secretaries Report, based on notes provided from last month’s meeting. Last month’s minutes were summarized, and details posted on the Club’s web site.

TREASURES REPORT:

Amber Engen provided the Treasures Report for this meeting. Amber announced a Starting Balance of $4,581.99 and an ending balance of $4,289.93.

OLD BUSINESS:

1. John Pearson reminded the membership that 2006 club dues are now being accepted and urged the membership to pay their dues as soon as possible.

2. Jim Wangers addressed the membership:
- Jim talked about the passing this year of John DeLorean. Jim said that he would be missed and that DeLorean should be remembered for all of his engineering contributions and that Jim recognized DeLorean as being primarily responsible for the GTO.
- Jim also talked about his Muscle Car presentation that will be provided on Sunday at Bison Creek, which has been exclusively reserved for this event.

3. John Pearson added his support for Jim Wangers plans to provide a Muscle Car Presentation on Sunday at Bison Creek and emphasized that everyone should try to attend.

4. John Pearson explained the rules of the Gag Gift Exchange, which will be part of the activities that will follow today’s business meeting.



NEW BUSINESS:

5. No new business was discussed

6. No 50/50 Raffle was held.


MEETING ADJORNED:
Meeting was adjourned at 5:15 pm, by John Pearson. Next meeting will be held at the Bison Creek, at 5:00 pm, on Saturday, January 7th.
