66 gto windshield wiper wire

the wire to the windshield wipers in my 66 gto is not connected and i cant find anything in the books i have to indicate which wire in the harness it is. does anyone know which wire belongs to the wiper?

what harness do they come out of? headlight harness?

Yes. Next to the horn relay are 2 big connectors coming thru the firewall. The one closer to the relay goes to the headlights, and it branches off early to go to the wiper motor and washer.

The connector on the front of the wiper motor/washer assy has 2 wires. They are DK BLU DBL WHT STR and BLK SGL YEL STR. This connector goes to the washer.

The side connectors go to the wiper motor.

The upper connector on the side has 2 wires. One goes to the font connector (BLK SGL YEL STR). The other is BLK.

The lower side connector has 1 wire: BLK SGL LT BLU STR.
