I got a set of what I believe to be Rally II's, however when I *attempted to put them on my 66, I found that the bolt hole pattern is a "bit" wide for my lug stud pattern. They will slide over the studs but wont center in the holes. My 66 has 14" plain jane wheels currently.

Is there a "conversion" needed to run Rally II's on a 66 or do I just have wheels that wont work? If so, I'm not out much cash.

Thanks for the time

Your Rally IIs are probably for the bigger cars with a larger bolt pattern. GTO/LeMans both pattern is 5 (holes) 4.75 inches apart (or is it 4.5") Another set of Rally II's won't be that hard to find.
However, as you probably already know, Rally II's didn't come out until 1967. I'm struggling myself right now with what to put on my '66. Since it was a "Poverty Cap" car I have a set of those, but I'm now changed my mind and am NOT going to use those. So now I'm looking at what else to put on.

As Al said, you may have a full size set of wheels. They would be 5 on 5 bolt pattern. If you don't have a home for them, I may be interested in either swapping for a set that will work for you, or just purchasing them outright. Let me know if this interests you. Thank, Stefan.

I found a set of rims that will work (15X7). They are far more aggressive looking than was my original intent but I couldnt beat em for the price.

As for the Rally II's, yes they are from a larger vehicle and yes they need a good home. They have center caps (red arrowhead) and beauty rings (not new but not shabby by any stretch). They have also been repainted (correct colors but the prep job could have been far better imo). They are about "five footers".

Anyway, if you or anyone else is interested in them I can be reached at evilmojomonkey@aol.com or IM me at phordd@hotmail.com (9-5 Mon-Fri) or respond to this post.

Thanks!
Damon
