I can't believe this guy actually put an operating jet engine in a New Beetle. I'm thinking this would be a good addition for a 1973 GTO! Maybe even make it competitive!

I think they are jet engines (air turbines as opposed to rocket engines that are solid or liquid fuel powered?) and they are commonly used on jet helicopters?

Just guessing.

PS Nobody bit on my dig at '73 goats?

That because they didn't make a 73 Goat :)

They did make a Lemans they tried to pass off as a GTO though but I don't call that a Goat. I'm on the same wavelength as you.
