Just thought I would throw it out there that if anyone is interested in caravaning to the show from the Eastside, I'm going up around 7:45am. I won't be able to make the BBQ on Saturday, but I have heard it's lot of fun...provided you get there before everyone leaves...which I did last year.

This is a fun show and it's nice to see lots of different Pontiacs...not to mention walking across the street to the air conditioned Red Robin for refreshments.

See Ya!

Thanks Don. Actually, like last year I have made a special 12 x 19 Poster just for the show, with the show art only, to be used as Garage Art and I may bring some of the Pontiac Emblem posters and some of the GTO Logo posters I made to the show?

http://tinyurl.com/qxwbk - 2006 Poster

http://tinyurl.com/nf5we - 2005 Poster
(The Pontiac Emblem Poster is just the background Pontiac "V")

http://tinyurl.com/botz5 - GTO Emblem Poster

I'm thinking of doing a series of these and may start selling them... But for a short time, all my Pontiac friends can get a free copy ;)

Hope to see you all at the show - Brett!

I'll have to make you a special order, as I owe you one anyway! :)

IF... you will be going to the WWF All Pontiac show, let me know and I'll put together a little "care" package for you to pick up there! ;)

Brett!

I'm going to try to make this show........if the planets align, and the mrs. doesn't roll her eyes. It's a fun show and really good people.

We should get as many club members to enter as possible in order to secure the 'club participation award'

I'll be attending.. might even bring all three cars, although it's not likely at this point due to some clutch problems with my Trans Am.

I was planning on heading up there as well. Havent had a chance to make a club meeting (or sign up for that matter) so can't help there but the event sounds fun.

I hope to see you guys there!

If it's anything like last year... I'll be reupholstering my front seats, and installing new carpet the day before the show!... And that's the way it looks like it will be going... right up until the last minute... maybe I'll go in the underconstruction class? :)

Did you find another driver Zeke? Maybe Todd Boyer would help?

So, it sounds like we have a small caravan started coming from the Eastside.

The plan is to leave Issaquah Fred Meyer at 7:45am and pick up whoever wants to join us as we go West I-90 to North I-405 up to North I-5 to the Everett Mall.

Rick R - are you going to join us? I've sort of already planned on meeting up with you wherever you recommend in Bellevue and then heading up.

Also, here's a link to anyone that is interested in pre-registering...which I recommend.

Anyone driving up from the South End? Not sure what time I plan on heading up yet? Might go early to try and help out? And to make sure I have time to clean up the car and get it all set and ready to go...

But let me know if anyone is heading up from the South end?

Brett!

I'm going, just mailed my registration in today. We could hook-up at the Totem Lake Mall, it's right on my way to 405.

Hi Rick! SO glad you're coming! I hate to admit I don't know something but I don't know where Totem Lake Mall is...is it along the path of I-90 to I-405? If so, where??

Brett, if you head up early to help out I wouldn't be able to meet up, but if you're heading up from Federal Way and felt like hopping onto I-405 to join our caravan, we'd be happy to have you join the caravan.

Milt, I saw your post on LS1GTO.com and uh, the time is in the post I did here about the caravan. Also, thanks for giving me a name...I guess I sort of asked for it when I put plates on my car that say CARCHIK and now I am being called a chick. Are you going to join us? If I can do it, you can do it!

See you guys Sunday...some on Saturday too at Rainier Run!

Hi Ambere,

It's at 124th off of I-405 (124th is the road you would take to go through the Sammamish valley - turf farms, way to get to St. Michelle winery, etc.).

We could meet at the Chevron or the parking lot across from Underhills. What time are you thinking about?

or -

take 405 North

take exit 20 B ( N.E. 124th St./Totem Lake Blvd. )

go toward (right) Totem Lake Blvd.

go through the 1st light which is Totem Lake Blvd. The Totem Lake Mall should be right in front of you having the Chevron gas station the nearest of you.

take the 1st right at Totem Lake Way (right after Underhill's Furniture)

Amber:

I'm on the fence about Sunday. I'll be gone all day Saturday to the Rainier Run and my wife may not be thrilled about me being gone the entire weekend on one of the way too few nice summer weekends. We'll see how it goes. She was with me last year at the Everett show but was completely done in about 45 minutes. That is why my car was outside the fence last year.

Anyway, if I'm there for the meet up fine, if not, don't hold up for me.

I did see your time posting earlier, but I learned long ago to "measure twice, cut once" and I wanted to check. Those things get sideways way too easy. I didn't see the time and place in one post, so wanted to confirm.

On the "Carchick" thing, just tell him you prefer to be called by your name. No problem.

Milt,

I understand.....all day at RR and then all day at WWF Show....it's a long couple of days (but really, really fun). I'm not making it to RR this year and there will be a gap in my Rainier Run t-shirt years.....

Ambere, If you leave Issaquah around 7:45, you should be at Totem Lake around 8'ish........

Sounds like we're stopping at 124th exit and the 160th exit? Rick, can you meet us at the 160th exit around 8am? Sorry, just trying to lessen the number of trips on and off the freeway. Pat Kinsella is meeting us at 160th exit around 8am.
Too bad we're not like the cops and can post up on the on ramps and then just gun it when we see our groups...
My cell is 206-551-6210 if anyone will be late...please call if you'll be late...please, please, please.
Oh, I won't be bringing the '06 as far as I can tell because the dealership has it sort of indefinitely. All 2006 GTOs wtih a build date of prior to 7/06 have bad struts. It's a long story and my little baby is one of the ones with the bad struts. We have no anticipated fix date and it's not looking good because it's a national issue.
Oh well...finally mustered up the courage to buy it and it's broken...........<insert four letter word here>!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick

ok, 160th stree exit it is (I believe that's exit 22). I'll be there at 8 and I'll take your cell number just in case.

sorry to hear about your new car.....

I can't seem to download the entry form. How much is registration the day of show vs pre-registering? Can you register at the BBQ on saturday?

ambere
07-25-2006, 10:58 PM
The registration fee is $15 any time after July 17th.

I am sure you can pay at the BBQ. I would talk to Brian Sargent, he's club prez and a really nice guy.

Glad to hear you're coming to the show! There's a club participation award and it'd be cool if we got it.

Rick, we'll see you there. Pat Kinsella with a midnight blue '05 will also be there.

I usually end up going up eary to help set up... and I'm sure I'll do the same again this year... Just trying to see if my neighbor with his 68 Firebird convertible will want to cruise up together or not?

But I hope to see you there, and hope to meet more of you this year!
I'm usually the only "Blue 67 Firebird convertible" in the show, and there is usually only 3 or 4 in the 67 convertible Firebird class, so I should be easy to find. :)

See you there - Brett!

Hey, just wanted to thank you all for coming to the show, it was great to meet more members of the NWL... and to be able to put names with faces etc... I wish I could have met more of the members... and passed out more Garage Art... I'll try to bring some to the Muscle Car show...

It was a good show even with the rain now and then... thanks for hanging out and helping to make the show a success!
