It's getting a little unbelievable. Wouldn't it be nice to think our cars are worth what NADA thinks they are. They're prices are up again!

I'm grinning! Mine is worth almost as much as my first house. OK, so it was not a very nice house! Now I could sell my house and have enough coin left over that each of the family members could have their own GTO to live in!
hmmmmm....

I thought you were asking $45K for the Plumster??
That's a steal........so why hasn't it sold?
You should keep that car anyway.................

I don't like the high prices.
It takes the fun out of it.
Back in the early days of the mighty Legends you could pick up a sweet GTO in the low teens & enjoy it.
These prices are taking the fun out of the hobby.
It's limiting the cars to the wealthy that often times don't fully appreciate them, instead using them for investment purposes only.
"Yeah I consigned the convertible Judge, it's not a GTO, it's a Judge I said. And it's got the Ram 5 engine." - quote from sales at Park Place.
It's limits the people who don't have them, & the people who have them get more & more nervous every time they drive them.
I for one would like a couple more.
Not for investments, but so I could look at them & drive them & enjoy them.
But I fear my days are numbered because of this whole phenomenon I call the "Barrett Jackson-EBay Syndrome".
Give me a 67 & a 64 & I'll be content for life.

Mark,
I could agree more, ya, what you said!
My wife, (bless her heart) has said she wants me to keep the plumster (it's not currently on the market anyway, that's why it's prolly not selling huh). She said we can find another way of restoring the HO convert. uhhhhh who am I to dissagree with my wife I ask you? So, if someone wants to offer me $45K it's gone, if not, it's at home in my garage, xept for days like today, thens it's out on the streets being driven around by ME :-)
I still look at the car for what I've gotten into them, so, I still drive them am much as I can. They're only peices of metal, they're not gold. (yet) So, NADA, Barrett-Jackson, and eBay....... thanks but, no thanks.
However, if we sell, we should follow the prices, after all, if we sold for what we'd pay.... some dealer will scoop up on the cars and sell for big proffit, like the one in PA tried to do with my plum mist. Needless to say, I didn't play his game.
ENJOY them like ya stole them.
