Fender condition opinions

I'm looking for anyone that knows about body work. I am looking at buying some new fenders and am looking for opinions on condition of the ones I am looking at. They look great to me. Here's some pictures. This one is the inside drivers side fender.

John, the first pic looks to be the driver fender. The surface rust is easily treatable. The rot hole in the center would have to be trimmed back til you reached good metal, then a patch welded in. Not a terribly difficult task for any experienced shop. However, is there any bondo on the outer fender skins themselves? A little isn't bad, but a lot would be grounds for continuing your search. Are these being repopped aftermarket from Goodmark, or Aimes?

These are original GTO Fenders from GM. No bondo. Supposedly only surface rust on the one fender. I don't think that is a hole. I think it's just the paint is worn away so it looks worse than it is. I was told that they are perfect except for the surface rust. They are on the way so I'll see! Thanks for the input. I have more pictures if you ant to check them out.
