I need to do something with the original tail light bezels on my 69 Judge. They have the usual pits in the pot metal on the top edges although they are not too bad. Fix or replace, what is a fella to do???

Has anyone out there had any first hand experience with recently available 1969 GTO tail light bezels as to quality and general appearence? Additionaly, does anyone know of any outfit that will restore original bezels?

I've noticed that the reproductions are available from several parts suppliers at $329 or so a pair.

Any information will be really appreciated.

There is a chrome shop in Bellingham that is the best at rechroming pot metal parts. Don't have the name right now, but I will try to get it for you. Most places screw the parts up trying to rechrome them. I was told about these guys in Bellingham, but as I am not at that point yet I didn't get the name.

I'm told the repro product is outstanding, but I sure wish some shop would stock it so that I could take a look. I've got 2 sets of bezels that I'm working on but I honestly think that the repros are the way to go for all but concours restorations (if they're as good as they claim that is!) i'd be real interested to know how you make out. Good luck.
