Hi all. My name is Anders, I'm from Denmark and all new to this forum.
My wife and I own 3 Pontiac's: 58 Bonneville, 64 Lemans and a 69 GTO Judge.
we have been Pontiac owners since 1983 and member of P.O.C.I since 1994.
My question to this bord is concerning our 69 Judge RA III fully documented.
I can track the car back to 1996 where it was sold from Bill's Wheel House 9411 Aurora Ave. Seattle, WA 98103, to a danish fellow Per Bojen. At that time license plate nr. 495 AXW.
Since this is WA area forum I wonder if anyone could add anything to the history of the car, owners, whereabouts etc. 1969 to 1996 in particular.
Facts: Win: 242379Z119396 Pontiac GTO The Judge, Limelight Green, Green cordova, Green trim. License plate nr. in that period was OLM694.
Car was sold new from: Bud Meadows Pontiac 12800 Aurora Ave. North, Seattle WA in 04-03-69.
Any help will be appresiated

That's interesting infomation so far Anders, & even more amazing that a locar car to us guys would end up in Denmark!
Although I don't remember the car, Bill's Wheel House is no longer, I sold a 68 GTO convertible there in the early 90's & was amazed the car vanished.
Bill's Wheel House was the area's leading Muscle Car Dealership that was at it's height during the 80's & early 90's, it moved through some incredible Muscles Cars.
Good Luck on your quest, chances are an original Bud Meadows car should be pretty solid!
Hello Anders,
Intersting story and I must agree with the post from my esteemed colleague, The Judge, that it's unusual to learn that a Seattle car is now painting black stripes on the roads of Denmark. That's cool.
About 5-6 years ago, I learned from a friend here in Seattle that works for a seafood conglomerate that a Danish fishing boat captain, pilot of fishing boats here in North Pacific, was looking to sell a 1969 GTO, Black on black and it was supposed to be a really nice driver. The price was $10,000 US. I was ready to fly to Denmark to look at it with a cashier's check in my sock in case I wanted to buy it right then and there. It never worked out.
Good luck with your quest for info here !

Thanks for the replies the JUDGE and THOR !!!
Sorry I forgot to mention that my Judge is trible Black for now, and I think it has been that color for at least 10 years.
I`am allmost certain it is the same car you mention THOR !! I know that Per Bojen was working on a fishing boat and he brought the Judge to Denmark in about Jan. 2000 . Besides you are right, the car is in a nice driving condition, fully complete and no changes while here in Denmark.
I will post some pictures to the forum later.
Have tried the DMV quick guide but the Win. has to be consisting of 17- characters so it didn`t work .In addition I talked to the WA department of Licensing in Olympia but they could not bring any information .
Thanks again !! hoping that mysterius period of 69-96 will lighten up !!!

Anders,
You've got to be kidding me !
I figured my story would simply be sort of interesting and only marginally relevant. This might be the same car ? Wow !
I distinctly remember that name Per ! It's a rather unique name.
Is he or was he a captain or a first mate on a factory trawler ?
The world is getting smaller by the minute, holy cow

Been away for a while sorry !!!
THOR :about the Danish Per Bojen I found out he is still a first mate on a fishing boat.
I know because I located his mother's phone number here in Denmark and gave her a call. She told me he is out there somewhere on that fishing boat so I could not get in touch with him. But she also told me that the car was supposed to have belonged to the area of Magnolia,Seattle in its early days.
Since Bud Meadows' Pontiac is no longer and the nearest dealer I can find is
Friderick Pontiac Buick Inc. on 7th Ave., I wonder if anyone on this bord can tell me where to go to maybe get a copy of the old sale documents from Bud Meadows? Do you think maybe someone has gathered them together?
I just think it would be very interesting to find the first owner(s) of my car!

It's hard to forget checking airfares to Europe to look at a black '69 that belonged to a captain or a first mate! DOH to you !
Hey Anders,
Have you run PHS on this car yet?
http://www.phs-online.com/
They run your VIN and give you original history documents about authenticity of GTOs, etc. They don't know anything beyond what dealership took the car from the factory though

Hey THOR ,
Yes ! I already have the PHS on my car and it conclude the same as my built sheet , and confirm it is a real Judge RA 111 ,AT.
Maybe I should start a new thread , searching for Bud Meadows sales documents from 69 or something like that !!
By the way the salesman who sold the car at Bill`s Wheel House in 96 , was a man called Tom Montanard . If he is still around or someone know about him , he could possibly have some information .
