Well, it's been many moons since the MarkD Judge has ripped the pavement. Tiger Run 2000 to be exact.
Now the Ram Air III has been completely reworked & freshened by Dr. Blake & will be cleared for initial fire-up during the week between the BOP & the Musclecar Meet. If all is well, the Judge will be in attendance at the Musclecar meet.
The Ram Air III in the Judge will appear stock, but alas my good men it is not.
So, below we have the play by play action of the engine bay transformation. 8)

The mission has been deemed a success, all extremities have been accounted for & no paint has been scratched. This was especially rewarding in the sense that it was my first solo attempt.
At this time, I went in & fetched an ice cold Budweiser. :-*

So here's where it stands Gents.
The plan will to be finish off the electrical, fuel system, exhaust, fluids, adjustments, checkoffs, & hood by next week's Musclecar Meet & for sure the October club meeting.
I have a Formula wheel to add as well.
Can't wait to hear the sweet sound of a rowdy, pissed-off Ram Air III through Flowmasters & out factory splitters. ;D
Later Dudes............ 8)
Mr. D,
I am speechless. Nice work !! I can't wait to see and hear this when it's gavel bangin' time. The motor and engine compartment look great and many congrats on the newly rebuilt original motor, secretly built to exceed stock RAIV specs. It just goes to show that there is justice in the world !
Sure hope it comes together in time for muscle car meet !! Tap me an email if you need an extra pair of hands on fuel system, electrical or other items this week.
ALL RISE BABY * ;D

Hey Bruce,
Thanks for the words, it has been a fun ride, bringing her back, especially the vision in my mind of the GTO in a barn back when I cracked the hood open for the first time & saw nothing but dust, dirt, & cobwebs.
Note the pic of the Palladium Silver Judge on the windshield acting as my guiding light. ;)
I saw your Judge at the BOP but could not find ya.
Hopefully I'll see you at the Musclecar meet or the October meeting.
Thanks for the offers, I'm dialed in, pray for sun! 8) 8)

Hi Jim!
Thank you for stopping by the NW Legends site!
Keep the cool pics coming!
Glad you guys like DA JUDGE, it was paradise getting her back on the road for the November club meeting that turned out nice & sunny.
Could you ask Milt where they put "Royal Bobcat" emblems on 68-70 GTO's?
I know position on 64-65, & 66-67, I know Royal Pontiac sold out in late 69, my Judge is a late 69 production & I would like to add the Royal Bobcat emblems that I have in the correct location.
THANKS & hope to see you & Milt at Tiger Run 2003!

Mark,
He said they put them in a number of places. The one that he remembers most is on the Ram Air V car (Like Jim Gully's) they put them under the window at the end of the stripe. The other place is in front of the wheel well on the fender, the third is behind the front wheel under the GTO emblem. Glad you have had great weather to enjoy the car. I am jealous!!! We have snow flurries here today!!! :( :( By the way, do you or anyone reading this have any idea where I could get a schematic on line of a 69 GTO? We are trying to get the gremlins out of our car.
Thanks,
Jim

Thank you for the info Jim, tell Milt Thanks! :)
I don't know of a schematic online, I use the service manual & the GTO restoration guide by Paul Zazzarine.
Keep the Ram Air V pix coming!
