Need help with the locations of emblems for a '66 GTO:
Front fender 6.5 badges - need the exact measurements from the door edge, and the height from top or bottom of emblem to to the lower body line.
Also, the rear trunk GTO emblem location. I have a '67 trunk lid - are they the same??
My buddy Tye (The custom painter) is putting the final assembly details together for a '66 GTO convertible he's been working on for a customer and wants to make sure all is correct.
Larry Ferrand - are you available for me to to come over a measure your car's emblems? You are the closest to me in Bremerton.
Thanks for any info.

Thanks Larry,
Good to see you too. Sorry I couldn't hang out longer but as the big flakes were falling and the hill up to your place - I was a little worried about my car getting back down........let's hook up for a cruise this Spring. Downtown Bremerton has monthly cruise ins that are drawing over 100 cars, first Tuesday of the month I believe at 6th & Pacific. They have burgers, beverage and a good time. The last one was New Years Day and had 180 cars!!!!
Your car has been on quite a journey since Mark D. and I unloaded it there a few years ago. Hopefully things will come along once the engine block and stuff gets done at SD Performance, and you are back together ready to terrorize Bremerton. I look forward to seeing you out there.

Brad, I can't wait until the engine gets back either. Especially when the weather starts to get nice again to get into the garage to get things put back together.
Hey anyone know of a good way to heat up my garage in my split level house besides leaving the garage door to the house open? That way i can work on the tiger's little things while waiting for the engine.
No JD & Coke hasn't worked yet. Seems like nothing gets done but making a mess. I'm not complaining though. :-)
Anyhow, Brad it sounds like a good time this summer. We will get together to go down there and terrorize someone if not each other.
Take care.

I have used a propane ceramic radiant heater. I use the style that bolts to the top of your propane bottle. They are not cheep but has served me well in my pole barn. Because of the size of my barn, it never warmed the whole building up but I could put it near the area I was working and get a warm zone.
I think it would work to warm up an attached garage especially if it is sheetrocked.

Costco, Lowes, and Home Depot carry portable heaters that should do the trick. Heat is a must in the shop! Makes it go sooo much better. Go with an electric unit versus a gas type as the gas type emit exhaust fumes and you don't want that in an enclosed space.
