Well, I bought a "restored" gauge cluster for my project. All indications are that the fuel gauge is broken. I'm looking for a working gauge. A nice one that I could bolt in would be nice, but I'll take what I can get, just so it works. If you have one, I'm happy to pay for it or trade for parts. Please call me or reply to the post.
