I never thought that the GTO would fit in with those little annoying rice burners, I guess I was wrong.

Somehow I can't see the new GTO being used for pictures like this one.

Nice pic Al 8)

I am looking forward to the official comment from the GTOAA on the "new" ahem, GTO & how it will fit into the GTOAA's theme of: 1964-1974, a decade of excellence".

Looking at those pics was painful. :P

Bland looking is all I can say of the new GTO--looks almost identical to the GP. They did a much better job in 67 differentiating the Firebird from the Camero.

Maybe they should differentiate and name it the McGoat.

Cool! This means in a couple of years I can get a nice pair of "GTO" seats from a wrecker for my car! ;D

Hey, ya know, it will never be what the GTO's of the sixties were, but I do believe it will be a real performance car for the modern era. I kinda hope to own one if the BOSS says it's something she will drive. I'm not sure I would've called it a GTO, but with all the retro stuff happening, Pontiac just jumped on the wagon and took a ride. Hey, look on the bright side, now we can have a dry weather GTO and a wet weather GTO. You gotta like that! ;D

I think it's great that they're bringing back the GTO marque but I think they could (and should) have done a better job. I realize we're never going to see sixties cars in production again.

It seems a throwback to the days when accountants ruled GM. They took an Australian car already in production and pasted GTO badges on it so they can capitalize on the retro movement. It seems pretty anti-climactic for the re-incarnation of the original musclecar.

I drooled when I saw the GTO concept car a couple of years ago. *That* was innovative but captured the GTO "spirit." Too bad they didn't put that kind of effort into the actual product.
