Electronic Ignition

Been looking online for a electronic ignition for my stock 389. I want something that will fit under the cap etc to maintain the stock look.

What are you using? Do you have part#s?

Summit sells a crane ignitor called the XR1 Part number CRN-750-1720. It has a adjustable rev limiter for those missed shifts. I have it in the '69. $64.88 @ www.summitracing.com Fits under the stock cap. See you saturday? I'll be bringing the '69. Mike

Yup I use the Crane unit too you forgot the bonus it is a digital unit too! Works like a charm I should be out working on my car in pieces if I want to make it down to TR. too bad I just opened this beer

Thanks for the replies. Order up the ignition, spark plug wires, and some plugs.

5 speed should be here any day. Also order up a clutch kit and new flywheel. I should be set for TR...

Yep looks like it. I bought mine from Summit for $300. Different brand.
