Bonneville DEMOLITION CAR!

Is anyone interested in donating time and/or parts for a demolition derby car. I am willing to donate one 69 Bonneville wagon, which will wear the NORTHWEST LEGENDS badge of course, for a future demolition derby. This is just an idea, so I thought I would see what interest there would be. Should be a good excuse to drink some beer and destroy a perfectly good pontiac. :P

Well, I think we will have to find an open field to run it through the paces, in which case we will all do some thrashing. As far as where, I'm trying to find out where and when they are held, then get the rules and go from there. The only one I know of for sure is in Silverdale sometime in the fall. I'm figuring sometime when the weather gets a bit nicer, we should draw up the plan of attack. I'm looking forward to doing some damage to the competition. 8)

They have demo-derby at monroe ..... Don't know when :(

I live about 12 miles away from the Monroe Fairgounds. I see less Demo derby style racing and more Extreme Figure-8 Racing but both are incredibly fun!

Other than a roll cage, removal of all the glass, and adequate restraint system I don't think there's much in the way of requirements.... Oh! probably a fuel cell.

If you'd like, I'll try and get out there and ask at the office for official rules.
