I was proud to be a Legends member....... (tear) :'(
Seriously, though, you guys made us all look better. The cars looked better than they ever have before. I have many non club member friends who went to the show and commented on how much they liked your cars! Job well done, boys!

Brucie, you made me dig for this one. That pic of you with the trophy is a classic. Here's what it reminded me of.

7th grade football......those were the days!Madrona Mean Machine unbeaten in Super Conference play 1978. The quick way out of the little leagues!

It is indeed a long weekend & alot of work, but it is so cool to watch all those people envy & dream about those GTO's!

They always "knew someone" who had one "back in the day" & they always say "that was the fastest damn car I ever rode in".

It makes it all worthwhile. 8)

Mark my man, you're so right 8)
Shoot even the gal at the licensing bureau takes a trip down memory lane in her mind when we go to register our beasts. When registering my '70 at the Factoria auto license place, the lady processing the things says "gosh, I had a girlfriend back in the day who had a GTO, lord whatta fast car that was...we had some really fun times in that car"

GTO_AL
03-14-2003, 11:55 AM
Bruce, that happens to you too? Two ladies came out to look at the P/Mist when I took it to register the '66 at the Lakewood licensing place. Another lady held up traffic today while she was looking at the P/M at a traffic light, herlight had turned green, the car behind her beeped. I bet that wouldn't have happened in the Pinkster LOL

Funny one Al. Hmmm, I bet the Pink special would do the same
