My sight unseen purchase of my new project has inched its way closer to the Seattle area. Picked up yesterday in Milpitias Ca. by my brother in-law and now rests in Santa Rosa where it will be started for the first time after sitting for 2 years. The car will remain in Santa Rosa California for about another 3 weeks where it will undergo treatment for its 850 mile journey. I also Just recived word that the 428 370HP is original with matching numbers to VIN. code.

Widetrack,
That GP is cool! 8)
looks like a Verdoro Greenlike color, which is one of my all time Poncho favorites, back that with a well appointed black interior, finish off with a 428 & Rally II's & you're the man.
How did you find the jewel?
Looks like it is fantastic original shape too.
Hope it arrives to your home soon so you can bond. ;)

Tasty Grand Prix Mr. Widetrack, Gotta love one of the longest hoods to come outta Detroit ever!! Reminds me...I've seen one of the original magazine ads from '69 advertising the GP, GTO, and Firebird. It shows three mod looking dudes wearing sport coats and turtlenecks standing in front of the three cars, emphasizing how cool the hoods look on the '69 line up.
Way to go, we look forward to seeing it and also hearing it!!
