67 lemans convertable wanted

Just looking to see if anyone has a 1967 Lemans convertible that they would sell to me. I don't need any interior or drivetrain. I just need a decent body to start with. Some rust is okay, I already have new sheet metal, quarters, rockers etc. I just want to see if there are any convertibles out there before I start patching up my coupe. I saw that one. I am looking for something much,much rougher. I really only need a body to start with, not a $13k car. Becides I don't want a clone I want a real Lemans!

I hear you about wanting a LeMans. I bought a '66 Sprint LeMans for exactly what it was and plan on keeping it that way.
I've heard of a couple other '67 LeMans convertibles. Just have to contoct who I heard about them from. One is in Oregon and is a Sprint convertible, thought about that one myself but have too many projects going now. I'll check next week when I'm down there. The other is up here somewhere but I'm not sure that's still available and it has a big engine. I'll keep an eye out for you, it seams I'm always coming across something.

Thanks a lot Al, that is very cool of you. I am in the Navy and just found out I am headed to San Diego next year and I would love to have convertable down there. My car is all stripped down and ready to go to the body shop soon to have the rust patched, so I am almost to that point of no return. I am going to hold off a little while. I am building up my motor now, I have all new interior, and the suspension I can rob off of my car. Again thanks, this forum is a really good resource.
