Friday Morning Caravan to T/R???

How many people plan on meeting at the McDonalds for the trip, what time do you plan on leaving? Kinda last minute, but since Im sitting here at work on Thursday I missed the Thursday Caravan... ;D

You're meaning the park and ride near McDonalds where I-5 and hwy 512 meets? I'll be there and I believe departure time is 9am. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey GTO-Al Instead of meeting the caravan on I 5 in Oly, I will meet you at your home . I'll be there round 8 - 8:15 am. That way I can road test my car a little more. The new car is running great... BUT the temp is now running at +220... >:( Im sure its not over heating.. It has never ran hot before, 180-185.. It doesn't smell hot.. Its not boiling over... When I left work this afternoon by the time I got to the gas station it was pegged.. Thats not right.. I think my temp sending unit, or temp gauge is off... If it was as hot as it said it was it should have at least boiled over.. ya think?? Maybe the new guage is doing it? Anyway, I'll be up round 8:15.. If thats too early let me know.. That way we can throw some stuff in my car. I have plenty O'Room! ;D

I'm thinking not to worry bout temp gauge, sounds like I need to take them both back. Mine's reading at 250 deg shortly after startup and with the radiator cap off and the water circulating fne. Grrrrrrrr ... Actually I'm glad you're haveing the same readings, at least I'm not imagining things..

Oh, and yes, it would be boiling over at those temps once it reached more PSI than the radiator cap is designed for, like 13 lbs as mine is.

Perhaps we'll get new ones down there or something. I almost put in a set of gauges today because of that.

whew... what a relief.. I thought I wasnt gonna make it in my car... It has to be the guage then. See ya in the morning...
