I was just wondering how many of you guys have flowmasters on your goats. I recently installed 2.5" pipes from header to tip with a set of flowmaster mufflers and they sound awesome.
I blew the baffles or something out of my other plain set of mufflers, that's why I put these new steel flowmasters on.
Later on I also blew my driveshaft, so I guess that's two for two so far.

I've got 2 chamber flowmasters with 2.5" pipes on my '67 convert, love the sound! But they're to loud at 70mph for 5 hours to Tiger Run, usually wear earplugs LOL. In town they're GREAT. Saying that, I'm going to put quieter exhaust on soon. Perhaps I'll save these for the HO convert when it's done.

Let's see Dad's '62 Grand Prix - stock exhaust manifolds, 3 Chamber 2.5" nice till you nail it, then real nice.
'70 Challenger R/T - 1-7/8" Hooker Super Comp headers, 2 Chamber 3", just plain 'ol nasty!
'65 GTO - H.O. Ram Air manifolds, 2 chamber 2.5" - perfect all around sound.
'67 GTO - 1-3/4 Blackjack headers (remember the 80's) 2 Chamber 3", loud, but not too obnoxious.

I really like the sound of my LeMans.
389, Hooker Competition headers, 2.5 inch flowmaster system, 2 chamber mufflers.
They kinda beat on your ear drums when climbing hills and I don't feel comfortable driving my kid around too much but they do sound mean. I may replace mine with a set of Dynomax mufflers later.

68 GTO - Hooker Super Comps w/ 3" & 2 chamber Flowmasters: forget the family riding, sets off alarms & gives off a Hooligan persona, but..It's where I want to be 8)
70 Judge- RAIII Manifolds w/ 2.5" & 2 chamber Flowmasters: bit more liveable, great idle note, kinda raspy in the interior @ 2000 rpm but smooths out.
Flowmasters rock.

Hey it's ALL good Shack-Meister!
You know it's personal preference when it comes to high end muffs.
What ever exhaust note a guy digs is cool - I'll still gladly drink his Beer! 8)

Word brother, I'd stand right beside you and drink it also, life is good. I couldn't beat the deal on the 2 week old magnaflows Brock was giving me, so that's how that worked.
