View Full Version : after 17 years it's finally mine!!!

just picked up a car i've been after for 17 years! I bought this car today from an 89 y/o lady who bought the car brand new in nov. of 1966. it's a 67 LeMans, all orig, all maint. work receipts. orig bill of sale! everything. car has never been tinkered with and drives like a dream dont even have to pump the gas when cold! car was hit in behind the first couple monthes of it's life and a GTO tail-panel was put in. this was her only car since 1966. I was after her for years to sell to me but she wouldnt even think of that. int is like new! she banged it up a couple times the last 2 years nothing major. she cant drive anymore so i sent in my secret weapon! my wife! my wife has become good friends with her and she would only sell it to her. so it's safe to say the car is hers, she deserves it. just thought i would share with everyone.

yep it says on the order sheet linden green. hate those stock rims gotta get some rally two's :)

hey al! notice my handle? lemagoat! hmmmm. they dont call me lemagoat for nothin! lol! i've looked hard to see if there is any gills in the rear 1/4's and i dont think there is any at all. inside the deck lid is gold and there is some chipped paint on the pass side 1/4 and gold under that too so at least one of the 1/4's is from a gold GTO. i'm gonna take off the rear door panels to make sure there aint no gills, I gotta know!!!!
