I have been to Bison Creek recently, and the new owners are asking when we are going to return. Is it set in stone to meet at the casino for the rest of the year? I know some people may be tired of going there, but the new owners seem pretty keen to keep us and help us out. As nice as the meeting room is, the fact that the casino location is restricted to 21+ may not allow me to attend.

Hi Dave, it was voted for the rest of the year(all of 2 months to go), but we will be having a new vote on what to do next year. The 21+ issue is one that was not brought up at the earlier vote and is an issue we definitely need to raise for the next vote. IMO, it may be a deal breaker. It's nice to be able to bring kids, not to mention the GTO owners out there who are under 21 and may wish to join the club.
I'm not sure whether the vote for next year's meetings will be at the November meeting or the December meeting, but I plan on being present and hope to see you there.

I come over from Bremerton to attend the meetings on occassion. My two kids come with me (16, 17). They are both under 21 so I will not be attending until the location changes as well. Not that I attend every meeting but is is nice to attend when I can make it over the pond.
Besides the White Tiger is now ready to play. :-)

If the casio indeed will not allow under 21 - then I suspect many people will have issues, as NW GTO Legends is a family club.
But I did see David Major, Gary's son at the last meeting in the casio.
That didn't seem to raise any red flags, but it needs to be clarified.
We have gone to Bison Creek the last two Saturday nights & the new owners did a fantastic job remodeling the place.
Go check it out!

During the discussions about where to have the meetings many reasons were discussed. As far as minor exposure to the casino its not an issue. When you come in the door the meeting room is adjaucent to the left and there is no reason to enter the casino or bar area.

Dave; The legal limit is 18 to enter a casino....21 to be in the bar. As Mike said, there is no issue about kids being in that meeting room. It is a private room, and in reality you don't even need to go in the front door to get into that room, as it has it's own entrance on the north side.
