Hi all, there was talk at the March meeting about maybe putting together a combined Legends/Goat Herd cruise in at a central location.

I have a proposal for the venue. NORPAC street performance, in Onalaska. They are right about half way between and they have lots of room for parking cars. They are planning to hold a Pedders Day (date to be announced soon) and are open to the idea of expanding the event to include classic GTOs. The date for the event will likely end up in late April.

Rich, the owner of NORPAC, is supposed to get back with me on the date. If an officer would like to coordinate with him and with the Goat Herd on the date and details that would be great. To contact Rick just go to norpacstreetperformance.com and click the "contact us" link to get their phone number.

What is NORPAC??

Bill,
Its a shop down south that does performance work on the newer cars. Good people. It has a gravel parking lot though. I would think we could stop by but I think the idea at the meeting was like a potluck picnic type setting at a park with family, friends and cars. Badmitten, crouquet, lawn darts, etc. (well maybe not lawn darts).

They have lots of space and usually put on a big picnic style spread. The place we parked last time was gravel, but they have grass on the other side. It's not a well manicured lawn like a park would have. If that's the idea, then, yes, another location would be better.

As a club we did that venue with the Goat Herd about 18 years ago.
We met at a park in Centralia.
I recall a potluck of some sort.
I think a cool pizza place or restaurant would work as well as long as the priority goal in mind was a car show-like cruise-in environment where the cars could hang out for the afternoon.

I've talked with one of the members of the Goat Herd, he is going to be putting me in touch with somebody who was involved with the last meeting and we'll go from there. Looking forward to getting the cars out and having some fun with our great friends from the south.
